The Aim of this learning program is to develop Affections, Cognitions and Behaviors area for Student or Childrens.

Schools, Recreational park, Play Ground, Recreational Forest, Camping Ground (Depends on the client choice or the most possible place).

Our facilitators are trained in child facilitations, equipped with the knowledge about the Convention on the Rights of the Child & Child Development. Measurement of Training Effectiveness

We are at Geo~Trek Adventure & Experiential Training always strive to deliver a highly effective training for our clients. We use various specifically designed training effectiveness measurement tools e.g. Life Effectiveness Questionnaire (L.E.Q.) designed by Prof. J.T. Neill from University of New Hampshire, Adversity Response Profile (A.R.P.) designed by Paul Stolzd, PhD from PEAK Learning Inc., General Self Efficacy Scale (G.S.E.) designed by Gail M. Wagnild, etc.

All of the training effectiveness measurement tools used by GEO~TREK are specifically designed by Outdoor Education Experts, because Adventure‐based Training effectiveness cannot be measured by conventional psychological test or questionnaire. Adventure‐based Training has many differences on perimeters and dimensions compared with conventional Psychological perimeters and dimensions, nevertheless, Adventure‐based Learning has an ability to develop and improve Psychological and Psychosocial skills of the participant.

The validity of the Measurement Tools has been tested and studied for more than 15 years in many countries before released as a valid Adventure‐based Training effectiveness measurement tools.

Why measured? Because training is an investment on people, so it must bring revenue / return for the company. It is a part of HUMAN CAPITAL STRATEGY. A modern company such like National or International Banking, Food & Baverage Factory or Distribution, Software or Hardware Distribution, Telecomunication Industri or Distribution & Oil Company has realized the important of training to enhance their employee’s competency.

Equalitas / Persamaan

Pembelajaran (Experiential Learning) menyajikan pengalaman baru secara bersama – sama di mana semua peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan yang sama tentang tugas dan rancangan yang akan mereka hadapi. Suatu kumpulan rancangan - rancangan dan keadaan - keadaan yang unik yang menuntut peserta untuk menggunakan ketrampilan – ketrampilannya dalam bentuk team untuk dapat berfungsi dalam suatu kesatuan.

Membangun hubungan dengan cepat

Para peserta berinteraksi dalam suatu suasana yang penuh kedekatan dalam mengatasi tantangan – tantangan yang baru dan asing secara bersama – sama. Ketidakseimbangan

Ketidak familiar-an pada tantangan - tantangan dan persoalan – persoalan menempatkan seseorang pada suatu keadaaan tidak seimbang atau ketidak stabilan. Mereka tidak dapat dengan mudah bersembunyi di balik status sosial, peran dan pembelaan diri mereka sehari – hari, pengalaman mereka sebelumnya tidak dapat diterapkan dalam keadaan ini. Keadaan ini memungkinkan ditambahkannya penekanan – penekanan tertentu di dalam tugas dan proses yang selaras dengan thema pembelajaran selagi kelompok peserta sedang mengorganisasi dirinya dalam mengatasi tantangan.

Teknik proyeksi

Dalam mengorganisir ketidakstabilan atau ketidakseimbangan, kelompok peserta akan memproyeksikan ketrampilan mereka dalam menyelesaikan problem, kemampuannya mengatur sebuah pekerjaan dan memperbaiki gaya kepemimpinannya ke dalam sebuah pengalaman . Pengalaman tersebut menyajikan sebuah kesempatan yang unik yang membuat peserta mau tidak mau harus melakukan sesuatu dengan skill, pengetahuan dan gaya kepemimpinan mereka. Pembelajaran yang muncul dari kejadian ini sangat dalam dan dapat membuka pikiran peserta akan informasi – informasi dan data yang membentuk proses pembelajaran secara kelompok ini.

Siklus waktu yang singkat

Dengan metode ini jarak antara proyek atau tantangan dan hasilnya diperpendek, sehingga konsekwensi dari keputusan kelompok dapat dengan mudah diuji dan ditingkatkan. Umumnya di dalam sebuah organisasi, terdapat lebih banyak keterlambatan waktu dan lebih banyak variable untuk dipertimbangkan sehingga peninjauan atas sebuah pembelajaran akan berisiko menjadi mentah dan tertunda.

Meta Learning

Di dalam “laboratorium” pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, sementara proyeksi – proyeksi dan simulasi – simulasi menerangi proses pembelajaran kelompok – kelompok peserta, mereka juga di minta untuk melangkah mundur sejenak guna mengevaluasi performance mereka. Peninjauannya meliputi, diri mereka masing – masing, kepemimpinan mereka, ketrampilan memecahkan masalah, kemampuan bekerja sama, komunikasi dan bagaimana mereka memanage perubahan – perubahan. Intensitas yang muncul dari tinjauan ini, yang kemudian didiskusikan di dalam kelompok, sangatlah kuat seperti yang muncul dalam organisasi pada umumnya. Geo~Trek Adventure & Experiential Training mengadopsi hasil penelitian Dr. John Luckner dan Dr. Reldan Nadler pada tahun 1999 ini dan mengembangkannya sebagai metode yang digunakan dalam proses Team Building Training untuk para kliennya sejak 2003.

Ketidakstabilan dan krisis namun di dalam lingkungan yang aman

Dalam Adventure-based Learning suatu Team bisa saja mengalami ketidak stabilan, krisis dan perubahan akan kebutuhan – kebutuhannya namun dalam lingkungan dan situasi yang aman sehingga konsekwensi – konsekwensi sebagai akibat dari kegagalan dapat di minimalisir. Team dapat mengembangkan strategi dan cara terbaik untuk mencapai hasil maksimal baik selama pelatihan ataupun setelah kembali ke dalam pekerjaannya sehari – hari.

Menanamkan kesadaran olah gerak (Kinesthetic Imprint)

Pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman (Experiential Learning) adalah dasar dari materi – materi pembelajaran kognitif. Peserta mendapatkan suatu pembelajaran kinaesthetic dan prinsip - prinsip kognitif yang utuh sebab pelajaran diterima secara langsung (Melihat, Mendengar dan melakukan) sehingga melibatkan phisik, mental dan dimensi perilaku dari setiap peserta.

Mudah dipahami

Pengalaman yang didapat dari pelatihan menyediakan suatu bahasa umum yang mudah dipahami peserta yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan pekerjaan. Pengalaman dapat menyediakan jalan pintas di dalam berkomunikasi membentuk sesuatu tujuan secara bersama dengan cepat. Pengalaman disimpan dengan cara yang mengijinkan peserta untuk melihat diri mereka dan para rekan kerja mereka di dalam suatu persepektif yang baru. Pengalaman dan cerita dapat juga bertindak sebagai suatu katalisator untuk melanjutkan tema di dalam organisasi.

Mendorong keberanian menempuh resiko

Dalam pelatihan Outbound, setiap peserta mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mencoba menempuh resiko – resiko baru, mencoba cara, strategi, peran baru dan mungkin melakukan kesalahan namun tetap aman dari konsekwensi – konsekwensi yang berbahaya fatal atau yang merugikan. Resiko yang muncul bisa dirasakan tanpa harus mengalaminya secara aktual. Masing - masing orang dilatih untuk menempuh suatu resiko dan menerimanya serta dilatih untuk berani keluar dari zone kenyamanan mereka. Di dalam situasi ini akan selalu muncul individu yang menonjol dan bersinar yang kemampuan kepemimpinannya belum terlihat sebelumnya di tempat kerja.

Kekuatan yang berbeda – beda

Aktivitas dan Tantangan untuk Team dirancang untuk melibatkan berbagai unsur-unsur tantangan yang menuntut serangkaian peran seluruh unsur team. Dengan kata lain keterlibatan dari semua anggota regu akan diperlukan untuk menghasilkan hasil dari proyek secara rinci yang dirancang secara khusus dan tidak hanya untuk satu perilaku dan gaya team saja. Seseorang tidak mungkin berhasil sendirian dan sangat saling memiliki ketergantungan dengan teamnya dengan belajar akan pentingnya keaneka ragaman di dalam team tersebut.

Kegembiraan

Pelatihan berbasis pengalaman (Experiential Learning) juga merupakan suatu cara yang sangat menyenangkan untuk belajar tentang lingkungan sekitar dan mengembangkan proses manajemen ketrampilan individu dan team. Kesenangan adalah suatu aspek pengarah yang kuat dari sebuah proses pembelajaran yang efektif dengan demikian peserta menjadi semakin terbuka dalam berbagi pengalaman dan secara kreatif mengambil bagian di dalamnya. We’ll get together around 01.00-01.30 AM at the hotel . Approximately 1,5 hours trip to Kintamani continuing around 03.00-03.30 AM at Pura Jati to starting Mt. Batur hiking ( 1717m above sea level ).

On the way hiking up the mountain, you will be provided with flash light and escorted by experiences guide in the night hiking. You will step up the stairway that were naturally made of cold lava after the explosion. This journey to reach top of volcano takes about 1,5 – 2 hours.

From there you can enjoy an excellent view of the sacred mount Agung which is – 3,142 meters above sea level and from the distance you can also enjoy the view of Rinjani mountain which is the highest mountain in Lombok Island. DAY 1

Start from your hotel at 1.30pm, with an air conditioner minibus about 2 hours trip to Kintamani, along the trip you will enjoy a sea view, rice and, orange field, bamboo handicraft industry and also the way of life people. In the area you are passing by. Hope you will arrive at the Natural Hot Spring by 4 pm, ..your camping site is on the bank of Lake Batur surrounded by Mount Abang and Batur. After checking in, you can also have swimming or just submerged your self in the unsmell of sulfur hot spring ( 29 – 32 C) water, that naturally come from Mount Batur.. in the clearly cold night weather ,at around 7.30pm you can make a campfire, following with BBQ Dinner of typical lake fish in Kintamani.. served with white rice, Balinese vegetable fries.. and fresh fruit as the desert. After spending sometimes around the campfire, now it’s time for you to take a rest in a warm comfortable tent for about 5 hours before continue the next morning for hiking.

DAY 2

In the early morning around 02.30am, you will be wakening up and shortly enjoy your hot coffee/tea before you go to Pura Jati as the starting point to Mount Batur hiking, escorted by experiences guide and all the equipment , will take you to the top of Mount Batur (1717m above sea level). Its about 1,5 – 2 hours to ge to the top and You will step up the stairway that were naturally black larva from the explosion of mount Batur.

From there you can enjoy an excellent view of the sacred mount Agung which is ( 3,142 meters above sea level ) and from the distance you can also enjoy the view of Rinjani mountain which is the highest mountain in Lombok Island. As soon as you get to Kintamani our local guide will take you to Suter as the starting point of downhill trekking around 09.00am, in this trip you will pass the pine , casuarinas trees also the beautiful panorama of Lake Batur and Mount Batur. Sometimes the mist covering all the way to go down so does the sound of the local Kintamani’s bird. After spending 2,5 hours downhill trekking, you will get Abang village which is one of the village along the lake’s bank that produce cabbage, red onions, chills, tomatoes and any other vegetables , in here you can also join the farmer to plant or harvest their planting in the traditional way, from this village you will get to the bank of lake Batur where you can start your canoing.

As soon as you get to mount Batur, you will meet the local guide, the Kedisan village is your starting point. Cycling at 09.00am, you will pass several villages in the foot of mount Abang and along the lake’s bank you will see the people activities such as planting the cabbages, tomatoes, red onions, this is the way they are for living beside fishing. , in here you can also join the farmer to plant or harvest their planting in the traditional way.

You can feel the cool wind while you walk along the bank of Lake Batur, with the panorama of mount Batur (1717m) on your left and mount Abang with its slopes and the tropical forest on your right side. DAY 1
Start from your hotel at 07.30am, with an air conditioner minibus about 2 hours trip to Kintamani, along the trip you will enjoy a sea scene, rice and, orange field, bamboo handicrafts industry and also the way of life people
in the area you are passing by. As soon as you get to Kintamani our local guide will take you to Suter as the starting point of downhill trekking.

Around 09.00am, in this trip you will pass the pine , casuarinas trees also the beautiful panorama of Lake Batur and Mount Batur. Sometimes the mist covering all the way to go down so does the sound of the local Kntamani’s bird.
After spending 2 hours downhill trekking, you will get Abang village which is one of the village along the lake’s bank that produce cabbage, red onions, chills, tomatoes and any other vegetables , in here you can also join the farmer to plant or harvest their planting in the traditional way, from this village you will get to the bank of lake Batur where you can start your canoing.

A catamaran canoe is ready to take you crossing the biggest lake in Bali that surrounded by two mountains…while paddling in a cool wind, you can also see the fishermen fishing, you will see mount Batur (1717m) in front of you and mount Abang, Trunyan village behind you.

And about 45 minutes canoing, you will get to Toya Bungkah village where it located in the foot of mount Batur, at the Natural Hot Spring pool you can go swimming or just submerged your self in the natural mount Batur hot spring pool, the clearest also without unpleasant sulfur odor hot spring in Indonesia (32 -39 C) this place also have the facilities like shower room and locker... at the Natural Hot Spring unique restaurant your Balinese menu or Buffet menu is waiting for your lunch.

Following with camp check in before you enjoying the free time like walking along the lake bank, or having fishing or just take a rest until dinner time. In the clearly cold night weather ,at around 7.30pm you can make a campfire, following with BBQ Dinner of typical lake fish in Kintamani.. served with white rice, Balinese vegetable fries.. and fresh fruit as the desert. After spending sometimes around the campfire, now it’s time for you to take a rest in a warm comfortable tent, about 5 hours and ready for tomorrow hiking.

DAY 2
In the early morning around 02.30am, you will be wakening up and shortly enjoy your hot coffee/tea before you go to Pura Jati as the starting point to Mount Batur hiking, escorted by experiences guide and all the equipment , will take you to the top of Mount Batur (1717m above sea level). Its about 1,5 – 2 hours to get to the top and You will step up the stairway that were naturally black larva from the explosion of mount Batur.

From there you can enjoy an excellent view of the sacred mount Agung which is ( 3,142 meters above sea level ) and from the distance you can also enjoy the view of Rinjani mountain which is the highest mountain in Lombok Island. Sandwiches and hot coffee/tea will be served while admiring the sunrise view.
After going down the mountain, around 10.00am, you will be served with cold drinks and fresh fruits before you go back to Natural Hot Spring where you can have swimming or just submerged in the hot spring water. At 12.00 noon you can have your Balinese set menu or buffet as your lunch, and from there you can continue your holiday schedule or back to your hotel.

DAY 1
Start from your hotel at 07.30am, with an air conditioner minibus about 2 hours trip to Kintamani, along the trip you will enjoy a sea scheen, rice and, orange field, bamboo handicraft industry and also the way of life people in the area you are passing by.

As soon as you get to Kintamani our local guide will take you to the Kedisan village, around 09.00am as the starting point of your cycling program, you will pass some villages in the foot of mount Abang and along the lake bank, you will see the people do their activities for living in traditional ways such as planting vegetables, red onions, chilies and tomatoes beside fishing. In here you can also join the farmer to plant or harvest their planting in the traditional way.
You can feel the cool wind while you walk along the bank of Lake Batur, with the panorama of mount Batur (1717m) on your left and mount Abang with its slopes and the tropical forest on your right side.

About 1 hour cycling you will get to Abang village and straight Lake Batur as your starting point. Mount Agung (3172 meter) is sacred place for Balinese where God abode, and become a major focus of divine power in the Balinese cosmos.

From the highest ground of this lofty active volcanic mountain, you will get a spectacular panorama of Bali all around, and a chance adoring the morning glory. We will start to climb around 1 am after midnight and climb for 5 hours to the mountain.

On the way hiking up the mountain, you will be provided with flashlight and escorted by experiences guide in night hiking.
After going down the mountain, cold drink and fresh tropical fruit will be served as complimentary at the vehicle, which awaits you. We will drive you back to the hotel.

Start at 07.30 am in an air conditioned minibus, we will drive you for about 1,5 hours, while enjoying the rice field scenery, villages life style and traditional market to Bedugul. Amazing “Tamblingan and Buyan” lakes as the trekking point to start exploring the nature, surrounded by cool fresh air and whistle greets from various exotic birds while walking throughout the rain forest. Reach finishing point after 3 hours trekking at the edge of the Buyan lake, where people store their traditional canoe.

You’ll soon get on those canoe with the guide ready to take you safely to the floating hut. Calmly water makes you feel become one with the nature especially when thin mist covers the water lake. After 30 minutes canoing , lunch will served in our style with cold soft drink ,coffee or tea as your choice in the vicinity of the forest that you have just been explored.
Mountain biking along the lake bank for another 20 minutes will take you to the finishing point of this adventure. Finally an air conditioned minibus will escort you back to the hotel.
